Bliss Gems: Death and Kills
You get one random gem when you first join. It stays in your inventory when you die, but every death damages it:
- 1st death: Chipped
- 2nd death: Cracked
- 3rd death: Shattered. A tier 1 gem is destroyed, and a tier 2 gem drops back to a fresh tier 1.
Killing another player repairs your gem one step (cracked becomes chipped, chipped becomes perfect). Kill someone while your tier 1 gem is perfect and it upgrades to tier 2. Only player kills count, including knocking someone into lava or off a cliff. Damage is just a warning: a chipped or cracked gem works at full strength until it shatters. Gems held in your offhand get repaired first.
Bliss's energy no longer drains when you die. Chipped, cracked and shattered is the only death penalty, and everyone's energy was refilled to full on 17 October.
Godly Weapons
Four legendary, unbreakable weapons: the God Sword, God Axe (it withers whatever you hit), God Mace and God Spear. Craft one by putting the netherite sword, netherite axe, mace or netherite spear in the centre of a crafting table, blaze rods in the four corners and amethyst shards on the four sides.
- Only one of each exists. There is one God Sword, one God Axe, one God Mace and one God Spear on the whole server. While one exists, its recipe won't work. If you want it, take it from whoever has it. If one is ever lost, its recipe works again, and everyone is told.
- Use it or lose it. If you're offline for two days while holding a godly weapon, it returns to world spawn for someone else to claim.
- One at a time. You can carry only one godly weapon. If you pick up or craft another, the one you had is dropped, and the whole server is told where.
- Crouch to swap. If you already carry a godly weapon, crouch over another one to pick it up. Walking past won't swap it.
- Every drop is announced with its coordinates: when you throw it, when you die holding it, and when it's knocked out of your hands.
- It can't be destroyed and never despawns. Lava, cactus and explosions don't touch it. If it falls into the void, it returns to world spawn, and that's announced too.
- It can't be stored. Chests, shulker boxes, ender chests, bundles, item frames, armour stands, hoppers and so on all refuse it. It lives in a player's inventory or on the ground.
Maces
Regular maces can't be enchanted. The enchanting table, anvil and enchanted books won't work on them. The God Mace comes with its own built-in enchantments.
